Dear Friends,

Within the heart of every mystic is a dancer and in the world of Rumi, these two dimensions became one ecstatic prayer.

We invite you into this dark heart of prayer, to consciously participate in your own divination, to become, as Rumi, the Shiva, Christ, Dionysus -- reborn in the body, in the beating breast of the divine, in the poetic presence of the great mystery.

Join us as we weave our paths into a physical celebration of the rhythms of Rumi and Rumi in the 5Rhythms®. For each of us, the body is our spiritual path. May we dance with the fire of this knowing.

It is with deep gratitude that this experience will be supported by the Urban Zen Initiative and offered at the magical Stephen Weiss Studio in the West Village.

    Andrew Harvey is a renowned and distinguished mystical scholar, Rumi translator and explicator, poet, novelist, spiritual teacher and writer, and architect of Sacred Activism. He has taught at Oxford University, Cornell University, Hobart and William Smith Colleges, The California Institute of Integral Studies, and the University of Creation Spirituality, and is the author of The Direct Path, Son of Man, and Teachings of Rumi, among others.
